This authentic hand-painted papyrus depicts Seth (Set), the ancient Egyptian god of chaos, storms, and transformation. Recognized by his distinctive head of the mythical “Seth animal,” he embodies destructive force, untamed energy, and the challenges that bring change.
In Egyptian mythology, Seth was both feared and respected. Known for slaying his brother Osiris, he became the eternal rival of Horus. Yet, Seth also played a vital role in maintaining cosmic balance, defending the solar barque of Ra against the serpent of chaos, Apophis. His presence symbolizes power, resilience, and the transformative side of conflict.
Papyrus, created by the Egyptians from the Cyperus papyrus plant of the Nile, is the earliest form of paper. Each piece is handcrafted and hand-painted by Egyptian artisans using ancient methods, and it comes with a certificate of authenticity.
